Telemundo To Stream Full-Length Fare

By Laura Martinez -- Multichannel News, 11/6/2007 10:35:00 AM

In a first for the U.S. Hispanic market, Telemundo is now offering full-length programming on Yahoo Telemundo (telemundo.yahoo.com), including primetime shows and telenovelas, which will be available by 9 a.m. (ET) on the morning after their original air date.

Procter & Gamble has signed up as exclusive sponsor of the full-length telenovelas, which began streaming on Oct. 22, showcasing P&G’s top products including Crest, Bounty and Downy. P&G is using 15-second spots before each hour-long episode and brief commercials between segments.

“This new content broadens Yahoo! Telemundo’s cadre of video offerings and enhances our users’ experience by giving them another way to watch, share and enjoy their favorite shows,” Yahoo Hispanic Americas general manager Jose Rivera Font said in a statement.
